This is a brand new oem part from Yamaha. This is not normal, very rare, there are usually no problems, but it does happen.

These are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

The only exception to this would be defective items.

The cable has never been mounted but there is a little surface rust at the end of the steel cable, there is no other damage.

There was no factory packaging from Yamaha, but the tag was still on it but I did take it off so I could picture the number.
